16 Weeks With a Belly Bump!

I guess it's time:

It was Sunday, April 26th and my tummy just popped. :) I thought I would share with you my little man, as a side profile! I am still feeling really good. Dodge and I get up every morning and go walking together for about 40 minutes. I have been spending my time working between about five different employers to help them out. I am actually loving it, however, I am finding that I almost have less time than I did working at Northwestern! But of course, much less stressed out.

I don't have any unusual cravings for food, but I do love a good Mexican dinner and of course, chocolate. :) Ice cream still is not sitting that well with my tummy so I stick to lots of milk. However, the one weird craving is the smell of sulpher...I light matches and blow them out just to smell the smoke. Ha ha...I am weird I know.

I am getting eager to start decorating the little guys room though. I have been looking at paint samples to see what I like the best. I always said I hated yellow and that I would never paint the baby's room yellow, but I have to say that the color is growing on me. I think green will probably be the final color of choice, but we shall wait and see. I am sure I will change my mind ten times before I choose the color of paint and then after it is painted I will want the other colors. Casey has also liked green and yellow, but for obvious other reasons....THE SONICS. :)

Last but not least, I have not felt those little butterflies yet. Any time now, I am sure that I will have little fishies swimming around in there, but until then, I will be patient, because once it starts....it's not gonna stop.

Okay, this is last. Casey is working on yet another video!!! It is going to be quite funny and a little out there. Make sure to check back in a few days because it should be posted.

Just a few tips before you watch this next video...

1.) Make sure you have gone to the restroom before attempting to watch this video.

2.) Make sure you are not drinking or eating anything while watching this video, it could be hazardous to your health.

3.) Make sure you remember who is making, editing, filming and creating this movie...MY HUSBAND, CASEY!!! :)

Cheers, Enjoy!

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Tulips Are My Favorite:

I wish that Tulips were not as short lived as they are in life! They are so beautiful. It was a blast going up to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival with Ed, Dorothy, Jamie and Avery. We all had a great time, even Avery! :) We planned out our picture poses for next year with the kiddos!

First Ultrasound

GREAT and UNEXPECTED NEWS!!!

After waiting thirteen weeks for my very first Doctor's appointment...it was all worth the wait. Tears swelled up in my eyes when my Doctor had me hear the heart beat for the first time, because it was so reassuring that there was a little baby in my growing belly. The heart beat was 150 beats per minute, which is great.

After my physical, my doctor said that my uterus was larger. ??? What does that mean? I am either further along than I had expected, or I have twins. I went over and had an ultra-sound. They measured my sweet baby and it turns out I am two weeks further along that I had expected. Sorry for those of you who were hoping for twins...no twins this go around. My new due date is October 14th! I am actually 15 weeks today! Unfortunately, we lost two weeks of freedom!!! :)

And the other piece of awesome news....CASEY GETS HIS BOY!!! The Hogle name will live on! We are having a baby boy and we are thrilled. I might have to take a few weekends and spend the night with some of you girls to get out of this testosterone filled house. ;)

Anyways, we know it has been a while since we have updated you regarding our pregnancy, we just really wanted to wait until after our Doctor's appointment.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support!! My next ultrasound will be in four weeks!

Currie Park

Every morning between 6:20-7:00am

I believe that God gave us Dodge to get us used to waking up early. Every morning at 5:00am Dodge puts his two front paws on my bed side and he uses his nose to nudge the blankets off of me. I try and get him to let me sleep in until at least 5:45, but I lay awake with one eye open waiting for him to jump up on me again. So we get up and I take him to a big field by our house. He chases tennis balls for about an hour...if we are out there for at least forty minutes, I can almost guarantee that he will sleep during the day! :) At least he is more calm during the day.

But Casey loves watching him run in the field to chase balls, because Dodge almost has a huge grin on his face. He is so happy.

Dress Up...with a Dog??

Is Dodge being tortured, or is he just cold?? :) I must be nesting...I'm already playing dress up with my male Dog. ha ha ha

Mariners Game

Hogle Outing:

My Oh My, the Mariners won this game against the Tigers 6 to 3 and the fifth inning was awesome. We had a lot of fun together, but we really missed Grandma Hogle, she was at home happy as a clam babysitting Avery. And it was Nicole's birthday, Jamie's sister and her name was up in lights on the big screen, unfortunately, we were sitting right underneath it.

Ali's Bridal Shower

Girl Party

Ali, is my sweet dear friend from work and she is getting Married on May 9th. Her shower was so beautiful and fun. She has such wonderful friends, it was great hanging out with the girls for a few hours. I can't wait for her wedding...not very many days left!
