So, I thought it would be interesting to put these pictures in order starting at 20 weeks all the way to 28 weeks. I can't believe how much I have grown in only eight weeks. Without complaining, I am really nervous for this hot streak of weather we are about to have. I am not really swelling, however, there is a noticeable difference between a hot day and a cold day in my feet and ankles. I am thinking that I will probably sit in Dodge's kiddie pool with him to cool off :) Bring on the fans and Popsicles baby because it's going to be HOT.Sunday, July 19, 2009
The Nursery...
Transportation Theme:
Okay, so here it is...The Nursery. We have had a lot of fun this summer working on this room, however, it has taken a lot of work. We decided to go with a transportation theme, which has actually been really fun! The colors of the room are Blue, Green, Yellow and Red. Gosh little Jr. is already so spoiled! :) Our room isn't even this coordinated. ;)

27 Weeks
Oh Boy! 
I had my monthly Doctor's appointment last week. Everything is going great. I have gained 18 pounds and Jr's heart beat was 150 beats per minute. Everyday until Jr. arrives, I have to count his kicks as a way to make sure he is doing well. I am supposed to get ten kicks in a two hour period. When my Doctor told me this I was worried that I would not be able to get all of his kicks in two hours. However to my surprise, it usually only takes about ten to fifteen minutes to get his ten kicks...he is far more active than I thought and he kicks a lot more than I realized.
Casey and I started our seven week birthing class last week. It is pretty good. I am not sure if this class will actually prepare me for labor, but it has and will definitely give me a lot of information that will be helpful when the time comes.
I have had a few Braxton Hicks contractions, which are not at all painful, but just feel like my stomach is tightening and causing a lot of pressure. But otherwise, I am still doing really well and most importantly, I am still sleeping well, besides going to the restroom three times a night. :)
Ice Caves
Jr's First Hike! 
Casey went to Justin's weekend Bachelor Party camping for the weekend, so Ed and I decided to take Jr. and Dodge on a small hike to the ice caves. It was beautiful. The ice caves made a refrigeration type of cold draft, which felt so good on the Hot day.

Pole Dancing
Stacy's Bachelorette Party: 
Stacy and Justin are getting married in T-minus 13 days and so we celebrated her last outing as a single women learning how to Pole Dance! It was so much fun. I was nervous that being pregnant would prevent me from participating in all of the activities, but I was able to do our whole routine on the Pole. :) I think Casey might get me a pole for Christmas this year! :) We all chose striper names and the other pregnant girl and I chose Big Mama and Lil Mama as our striper names.

Stacy took a shot without using her hands and because we made her laugh so hard she had a hard time getting it down...it went all over the table and girls sitting across from her. Ha ha it was hilarious.
The piano guy called her up to embarrass her and unfortunately it did not work, he had her do the chicken dance in front of everyone, which she loved! So much fun! Love you Stacy!

26 Weeks
Less than 100 days to go:
Not much new to add this week. I have another rash, yet again. :( I am so itchy. I am starting to feel Baby Jr. move more and more especially when I am just laying down to go to sleep. His kicks, punches, and rolls are getting stronger everyday.
I think we have narrowed down our names to Griffen (Griffin) Lee and Lucas Edward. Brock Lee is a strong third! ;)
Feel free to vote on your favorite name :) Not like your vote matters...Ha ha, just kidding, we would love to hear what you like.
Anyways, the script to video three is written and ready to film...hopefully in the next few weeks we will be putting our third video together.
