Happy Birthday, Dad (Grandpa)!
We went over to Katie's house for lunch and celebrated my Dad's birthday. Lucas got to wear his "Grandpa is my Hero" shirt just for his G-pa's birthday. :) Katie had these M&M's out in a dish and Lucas loved putting his hand in the dish. A quick move to his mouth and before anyone could react he had that darn yellow M&M in his mouth. My Dad's hands were full as you can see by my Dad's reaction, "Oh No" he could not help Lucas get it out of his mouth. Fortunately, Grandma was there to swipe it out! :) I love this picture!
What a fun day!
Lucas is doing great. His weight was pretty low at our Doctor's appointment. He was not even 16 pounds. So we are now at three solid meals a day. He has been doing pretty good. He is sitting up on his own and he can get on all fours, but no crawling yet. He has been sleeping much better too, especially with his naps. We are working on weaning him from the multiple feedings at night, which is going pretty slow. Other than that our serious little man is soooo happy. I took this picture and could not believe how much Lucas looks like Casey when he was a baby. 
Lucas and I went on our first playdate this week with Leah and Isaiah! We went into Seattle and went to the park. Lucas swung in a baby swing for the first time! There were four boys in our group and one girl. Everyone was six and seven months old. We had a great time!
All I can say is she is still in her 50's! :) We had a great time. We were sad that Nate and Jamie and Avery could not be there, but we celebrated as if they were! Casey decorated our whole house with balloons and streamers. We had BBQ Chicken sandwiches and Coke Floats for dessert. Happy Birthday
